Another busy schedule of shows this week. On Monday, Hot Snakes are at Neumos with The Bangs and Spider Fever, and Kelly Hogan is at the Triple Door with Puddles Pity Party. On Tuesday, there’s a free performance by The Lumineers at Sonic Boom Records in Ballard, Rodrigo y Gabriela are at Paramount, Kathleen Edwards is at Neumos, and Bowerbirds are at Crocodile with Dry The River. On Wednesday, Swervedriver is at Neumos. Thursday night, Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band, Throw Me The Statue, and Cataldo are at Neumo’s, Typhoon, Lake, and You Are Plural are at the Tractor, and Oberhofer, Pond, and Makeup Monsters are at Sunset Tavern. The weekend starts heating up on Friday night, with Legendary Oaks at Sunset, The Polyphonic Spree at Neumos, and The Wedding Present performs Seamonster, Pinky Pigletts, and Zarigani at Crocodile. Big night of shows on Saturday, with Monogamy Party, Blood Orange Paradise, Baltic Cousins, Grenades, and Rookery all at Columbia City Theater, Chairlift is at Crocodile, Ceremony is at the Vera Project, Cults, Spectrals, and Mrs Magician are at Neptune Theatre. Firehose, Tera Melos, and Virgin Islands are at Neumos, and Mike Doughty is at the Triple Door. There’s also an Audioasis benefit show at Sunset featuring The Grizzled Mighty, Strong Killings, and Consignment. On Sunday, We Are Augustines play a free in-store at Sonic Boom Records in Ballard, Sleigh Bells, Javelin, and Elite Gymnastics are at Showbox Sodo, The Barr Brothers are at Columbia City Theater, and James is at Neumos.
